Foundations

Cinemyth is built on core ideas about how films achieve enduring resonance. These ideas are not built from the ground up but naturally emerge from close examination of films and their meaning. As such, this a living document where new concepts can be added or existing ones refined. Foundations serve to collect all of these ideas in one place—especially when using new terms or definitions that may differ from standard usage.
